A very scarce Waffen –SS car rally plaque in VG+++ to better condition. The item is made from brass with black enamel and showing the SS Runes below a man on horseback. The item is worded M1/20 W-SS ZIELFAHRT ZUM RHEIN DUSSELDORF ( W-SS DESTINATION TO THE RHINE (DUSSELDORF) This was an SS car rally and the plaque would have been affixed either to the car afterwards or to a wooden plaque base for keeping at home or base. The item measures 7.5cms or 75mm across and on the reverse it is maker marked ADAM DONNER ELBERFELD. No damge to the black enamel. |
