A tin metal plate measuring 33 x 26cms with a painted grey background and showing the whereabouts of Grenadier Regiment 278. This is known as a Tactical pointer and was nailed to a pole or tree to show where the unit was at that time. The item came from Russia from a private collection in 2020. The details of the unit are painted/stencilled in now dirty white on the grey background. Item is in VG+++ condition for its age. |
