A scarce German model 1939 babies anti gas suit, the item comes in two parts, the rubberised part the child was put into and the hand or foot pump that was connected by a rubber hose to the back of the suit. There is a metal fitting on both the pump and the suit to connect the hose, the hose is now missing but a modern rubber hose would be fine to complete the set. The suit is marked GASJACKCHEN ETC . The red plastic window is cracked but complete, the pump is eagle/swastika stamped. Overall the condition rates for both as VG+++. Unusual and the first one I have ever seen in fifty + years. |
