A scarce and excellent quality and condition Latvian army officers dress belt and buckle. The item is of the 2nd war period and shows an oblong gilt metal buckle with clipped corners. The buckle is in red enamel with a downward pointing sword and letter “E”s breaking through a spray of oak leaves. The keepers also have oak leaf motifs. The belt is a brocade type with interwoven gold/yellow and red brown finish. Very nice item. |
