A 1ST pattern Luftwaffe officers dagger in VG+++ to better condition. The dagger is the transitional type having aluminium chapes and hanging chains, and the cross guard and pommel being made from silver/nickel plated zinc. The finish on the dagger is very good with the two metal finishes matching. The blade is very clean but non maker marked while the wire wrapped grip is in good condition. There is no damage to the leather on the scabbard. A nice clean dagger. |
